The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to supporting research into causes and treatment of developmental disabilities and support of programs for and training of persons with developmental disabilities.  The Foundation financially supports PARC, Special Olympics of Pinellas County, Louise Graham Regeneration Center and the Civitan International Research Center.  CIRC is an arm of the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, where they are doing cutting-edge development for treatment and prevention of diseases such as Autism and Alzheimer’s.  The Foundation also funds scholarships through the Pinellas Education Foundation and the St Petersburg College Foundation to promote education in our community.

The St Petersburg Civitan Foundation operates the Civitan Beach House in Indian Shores FL as the source for fundraising.

The St. Petersburg Civitan Club collects dues on behalf of the members and coordinates the charitable volunteer activities of the members.

All members of the St. Petersburg Civitan Club are also members of the Foundation.  Both entities have their own Board of Directors.
